[ 1986 - Present ]
This Santa Cruz, California quartet exploded onto the world punk scene with their 1995 FAT Wreck Chords debut “For God and Country” and quickly began to cultivate a reputation for combining a strong social/political message with energetic live shows.
Early appearances on skate/surf/snowboard videos furthered the band’s popularity, especially in the coastal cities of their native California where Good Riddance continued to craft a potent blend of stirring political manifestos and heart-wrenching songs about love and loss; all set to mood-driven melody reminiscent of CA’s classic punk acts.
Over 10 years, 6 full-length albums and countless tours later, Good Riddance remains as passionate as ever and are preparing to release their 7th album on FAT wreck chords this june (2006) as well as more shows and touring. (Taken from the bands website)
