Mark Beemer grew up in Washington DC and has been a staple in the music scene since the late 80s, having photographed some of the most iconic moments in hardcore. He is also the founder of The Syrentha J. Savior Endowment and Shirts for a Cure organizations geared toward bringing awareness to breast cancer and aiding underprivileged women who are battling breast cancer. Several photos of Jade Tree bands are featured in his book, Stealing Time: 23 Years of Punk Images.
Beginning with our blog launch next week, we will be sharing an expansive collection of Beemer’s photos. He’s captured hundreds of moments with our bands over the last 25 years, including some never-before-seen images. Check back next week for our first installment.
